ARTSCENE | SCENEscene
APR 11-12, 2014
OCT 3-4, 2014
In 2014 The West Side Show Room presented SCENEscene, an all-day cabaret of short performances by local artists. SCENEscene was planned as a part of The Rockford Area Arts Council’s ArtScene, a free event inviting art-lovers to galleries and studios all over the city to enjoy new exhibits of original works. The cabaret featured short plays, storytellers, music, stand up comedy, and a stage combat demonstration, as well as an opportunity to meet the artists and learn about the theater. Each day’s events culminated with a performance of a West Side Show Room play.
SCENEscene was presented during Spring ArtScene and Fall ArtScene at The West Side Show Room's original theater space at 410 Mulberry Street in Rockford, Illinois.
