Hiring for 2026/27 Season

The West Side Show Room is accepting applications for production staff and designers for upcoming theatrical productions in Rockford, Illinois.

  • Stage Manager

  • Assistant Stage Manager

  • House Manager

  • Scenic Designer

  • Lighting Designer

  • Sound Designer

  • Costume Designer

  • Props Coordinator

  • Technical Director

  • Lighting + Sound Technician

  • Scenic Painter

  • Scenic Carpenter

These are paid project-based contractor positions. Compensation and schedules vary by position. Show titles and information will be shared with applicants as assignments are considered.

Productions will take place throughout our 2026/27 season from Aug 2026 to Aug 2027.

Our first production, Nat Turner in Jerusalem begins pre-production Aug 1st and opens Sep 17th. We have an immediate position for Stage Manager.
