OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Managing Director to oversee the administrative and operational running of the theater. This role is vital in ensuring the effective management of resources, personnel, communications, and daily operations, while supporting the theater's broader mission and vision. The ideal candidate will have a passion for theater along with ample availability to dedicate to an ongoing project aimed at transforming our community.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with the board, artistic director, staff, and volunteers to ensure alignment between the artistic and administrative sides of the theater.
Work closely with the Artistic Director to ensure administrative support for creative endeavors.
Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting and communications for the organization.
Ensure our events and programming run smoothly and help to resolve any challenges that arise.
Coordinate with marketing and fundraising committees to schedule and implement advertising, fundraising, and patron management campaigns. Maintain the grants submission calendar.
Prepare offer letters and deal memos.
Monitor budgets and spending for all programs and events. Coordinate with bookkeeper to ensure proper accounting. Oversee payment of contractors.
Oversee operations of box office, memberships, and patron management.
Coordinate with Theater Manager and House Manager to oversee and ensure proper maintenance and management of our black box facility, concessions, and store.
Develop processes and protocols to streamline the functioning
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in theater or organizational management.
Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
Knowledge of administration, operations and budget management.
Ability to work collaboratively and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
PAY: $2500 stipend/season
