After years of planning and renovation, WSSR finally opened our new performing space in the fall of 2019— only to shut it down in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While short-lived, this season featured a return to form with the Rockford New Play Festival 2019, and the patriarchy-smashing gender-bending hit Men On Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus!
